Maruti Suzuki Invicto arrives at dealerships ahead of launch

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto has begun arriving at dealerships before its official launch, having been manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant in Karnataka. While it is essentially a rebadged version of the Innova Hycross, Maruti has made various cosmetic changes to distinguish it from Toyota’s model. These modifications include a new trapezoidal grille with a chrome bar, a redesigned front bumper with LED daytime running lights, and updated alloy wheels, among other alterations.
It is expected that the Invicto will be available in a high-end trim level, although recent reports suggest that it may lack certain advanced features such as ADAS, a JBL sound system, a powered tailgate, and memory function for the driver’s seat.
The Maruti Invicto will be equipped with a single robust hybrid powertrain option. This powertrain consists of a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine that generates 183 BHP and is paired with an e-CVT transmission.
Pricing details for the Maruti Invicto will be disclosed on July 5, 2023.
